The Festival of Flight

An anti-slavery benefit gig that I did alongside Nitin Sawney, Gilles Petersen and Asian Dub Foundation. I'd never been to the Scala before, let alone perform there.

I'd been expecting a small crowd, but it was rammed in there - to come on and play a relatively chilled set after Nitin Sawney's techno drum and bass was a little intimidating, but I sailed through it OK. The sound was appauling though.

The good news was that a lot of cash was raised for a good cause.
