The Big Chill Winter Chill 2002
1st December , Cargo, London.

The first chill event since the amalgamation with the cataloupe group; hence the new venue. Cargo is a gig venue and also a restaurant serving up nice cuisine at affordable prices.

An all-star lineup gathered for this Winter gig - I performed at the start alongside Pete Lawrence with a back to back DJ set, and also at end of the night after we'd heard performances from Natureboy (his debut gig!) Tom Middleton/Fred Deakin (suspect!) a late arrival in the shape of Norman Jay, Lol Hammond playing a live piano set, and Ulrich Schnauss playing a sublime, but unfortunately over amplified selection.

Very busy in there - it was rammed to be honest, but I had a good day overall. The main problem with Cargo is that the main room where I was performing is devoid of seating, which for my work is quite important I think.

Never mind, eh.
