alucidnation & guests at the Square and Compass
2nd-3rd July 2005.

This was a cracking weekend and no doubt about it. How could it fail but to be anything else? A beautiful pub situated on the Isle of Purbeck serving up great booze and food, a great audience and superb weather meant that this was always going to be a memorable one for me.

We arrived at the pub on the Saturday night and got down to some serious drinking - ace cider as usual! I got tucked into the local ale instead which went down a treat...

The Sunday featured live music from Eva Abraham and myself, plus DJ action from Dr Emily, Tom Sweet and the mighty Armitage Shankz Sound System (Kate and Kieren in other words). Great sets from all concerned, and I really enjoyed my slot, although in hindsight I should have played out of doors, rather than being stuck in the pub - I was concerned about the possibilty of showers - didn't want the kit to get wet!

A big thanks to Tom Sweet for sorting out the equipment - top man.
