alucidnation DJ at Plan B

I'd invited my cousin, Patrick to come down to one of my 'Lucid' nights at the Big Chill bar to do a back 2 back DJ set with me in July, which went really well; Patrick's a great DJ with grand taste in music so it's always a pleasure spinning some tunes with him.

Sitting listening to our set, which took us through a whole host of different genres was a guy called Christian, who was starting a night at Plan B called Reset the following month.

He seemed to be pretty impressed with what we were doing, so he invited Patrick and I to comandeer the downstairs room at the first Reset party at Plan B, just opposite the Brixton Academy.

A deep house 'don' called Jay-J was launching his album in the UK and he did a three hour set in the main room. We'd soundchecked earlier on in the downstairs room and what a soundsystem they've got there! It was a privilige to just hear your records sounding so shweet!

Sadly, the night was under-attended; I'd say that our peak audience figures numbered somewhere in the region of, er, twenty?

Still, it was good for the craic, and the promoter seems keen to have us back at some point in the near future.
